Messaging is one of the only ways to communicate to other players in Battle Dawn. Even here there are a few differences.

Direct Message

A direct message is a player to player message. The message box allows you to type 500 characters.

Mass Message

A mass message is a player to alliance message where everyone in your alliance will receive it. Depending on your alliance, only the leader may mass message or just a few people in your alliance or everyone in the alliance is allowed to mass message. As mass messages go round the entire alliance, it should only be used when you have something important to say or members will login and find they have 25 messages to read. When you send a mass message, there is a limit of 400 characters.

Forum

Your alliance has it's own forum. If you are part of an alliance, you can go to the community tab and click forum. Here you can post topics for discussion with other alliance members. Only people in your alliance can view this forum.

The forum cleans itself by automaticly deleting old topics. Only the leader has the options to delete the topics manual, or to make the topics sticky!
