1st you need to focus on food to grow remember workers make resources more food more workers more workers more resources more resources more resources more military and constructions.then oil and metal.
2nd it would be better to be conquered to make your tech tree and military make an outpost near you and make it a barracks that will be the location of your whole military place it there to avoid maintenance.
3rd making many barracks (2-3) would be better to avoid losing your military when someone nuke them make sure you have around 50 tanks (if you can hold but if not 70-100 infantry is enough) to guard your colony.
4th after having about 100 military in your barracks its time for counter attacks. send them to your conquerer (i send tanks , vehicles, and infantry at the same time because its effective but 70 tanks with ranged and armour combination is better) if they will arrive at different ticks learn to use the delaying tactics to make them arrive at the same time.
5th if you still cant conquer your conquerer its time to make 5-6 nukes and fire it at the same time. followed by massive military delayed to avoid being affected by nuke.before doing all of that plant a spy wait for until its infiltration points is over 500 then start the overload or make infantry's hp 1. it will weaken the military of your conquerer .

6th if still cant make a training outpost in a far place make your military there and relocate there.
7th make many outpost because if someone wants to conquer you with a massive military you can relocate to one of your outpost.
8th if a nuke targets you destroy it by ion cannon
