An account which isn't logged on for 7 days is deleted automatically. If you plan on not logging on for a few days, please activate the vacation mode. Donating accounts do not auto delete.
The first step is to create a user account; this is a fairly easy process and does not require much information. Before you start the registration process, it is recommended that you take a moment to read and review the Game Rules, which will need to be done before you can complete the registration.

Registering From
There are a total of 5 fields to fill out when registering a new account. They are listed with all information needed below...
Username
This is the name that you will use to log in to your account once it has been created, it is best to choose something that is easy to remember, and it is always a good idea to write your username down somewhere. If you forget your username, you have no option but to start from scratch. Note that this name is NOT the name that you will be known as in game, it is used only for logging in to your account.
Password
This is the secret password that will allow you to log in to your account. It is vital that you write this down somewhere because without it you can not access your account. Your password must be at least 5 characters long. It is recommended that you have at least 1 letter and one number in your password for security reasons.
Confirm Password
In this field, simply retype your chosen password exactly as you did in the previous entry field. This is simply to verify that you did not make a typo when entering your password which would prevent you from logging in.
In this field you should enter a valid email that you have access to, as a Verification Email containing a code needed for the establishment of your colony will be sent to it. Please do not use a Hotmail or AOL email address when registering, as these services are known to mark the verification email as spam and send it to the junk mail folder. If you do not have an email other than AOL or Hotmail, please create an account with a various free email service that will allow you to complete your registration. The address you use will NOT be given, sold, or provided to any 3rd parties which would send you Spam email. It is used strictly for registration and password recovery. Game Rules
Once you have all these fields filled out, please check the box that says "I have read and accepted the game rules" ONLY if you have taken a moment to read over what will be expected of you as a player in BattleDawn. If you do not check this box, you will not be able to complete registration.
Finalizing Registration
After all of this is done, click the "Submit" button, you will be redirected to the home page which will contain a message that reads "Registration Successful, You may now log in, Click on Launch Game.
Verification Email
At this point, you may want to open up the email account you used for registration, as you should have received an email with the subject of "Your BatteDawn Registration" from Contact@Battledawn.com. This email will contain your username, password, and verification code that will be needed to establish your colony. It is a good idea to save this email for future reference. Once all of this is done, you have completed the registration process! You may now log in and build your colony.
Building Your Colony
Once you've logged in, you will need to find a place for your brand new home. You cannot be to close to another existing colony, or on water or ice. Once the circle is green, click the build button. You'll be ask to name yourself and your new city. You will also need that verification code now and just like that, your new colony is built. Fancy sightseeing?
If you receive a message saying "You are too close to an existing colony" simply search around until you find a clear spot big enough to place your colony.
