Relics and crystals are often the most sought-after items in Battledawn. Both items can give bonuses to the individual colony (crystals) or an entire alliance (relics). However, the main difference is that relics allow you to win the game.

Crystals

The main part of crystals is it raises your score by 5 hence it's an essential part of the scoring system of the game.

  • You gain 1 crystal when completing the construction of the level 4 Metal structure.
  • The top referrer/voter each week will also win 1 Crystal, they can not be created any other way.
  • When you conquer someone with 1 or more crystal(s), you gain all of their amount of crystals.
  • Each crystal raises your score by 5.
  • Each crystal you hold now gives you +1 Metal,Oil & Food every tick. [game update, December the 1st 2007]
  • Crystals give a special ring around your colony
  • If two people are attacking an unconquered colony with crystals, the player with the largest amount of units at the end will get the conquer, and the smallest will get the crystal.

Relics

Introduced first on Earth 1 on Thusday April 19 2007. Relics were first found as wreckage in the sea allowing players to send squads over to attempt to capture it. 10 relics in total exist.

  • Only 10 relics exist,they are scattered around the globe.
  • Each Relic your alliance holds gives all of its members bonuses in the following way: (1 relic, 2 relics, 3 , etc...)

+5 Food, Metal & Oil, +15, +30, +50, 75, 105, 140, 180, 225, 275 [game update, December the 1st 2007]

  • First alliance to collect all 10 and hold them for 72 ticks will win the round.
  • If you take a relic in battle, your control tick will be reduced to 0.
  • If your colony owns a/multiple relic(s), your colony will have a special ring around it.
