Task Panel
There are 4 parts to the task panel:
- Messages (Light up green if there is a new message)
- Communicate with other players in the game and receive alliance invitations here.
- Radar (Lights up red if there is a hostile squad incoming)
- Shows you all hostile squads heading toward one of your places or your allies.
- Also shows all outgoing squads from you and your allies.
- Orders
- Issuing orders to your squads can sometimes be easier with this tool.
- You can also issue 'abort' or 'return' orders if a squad is en route to somewhere.
- Events (Lights up green if a new event has happened)
- This is a log of all major activities for your colony
- Tells you what's happened while you've been away as well as intel reports from your spies or scans.
Information Display
Displays to you information that's just happened.
Radar Option
Allows you to perform a satellite scan (see scans).
Location Search
Allows you to search by coordinates or by a ruler's name or by a colony name. Also allows you to find the coordinates of any location if you click on the main display.
Resource Bar
Displays all the resources you have here.
Tick Counter
Shows you the current tick in the game.
Broadcast Bar
The small bar where broadcast from other players are shown.
Squad Option
Allows you to turn on and off squads on your main display. The top button is for your squads and the bottom one for everyone else's.
Loading Bar
How much lag you're causing the server.
Mini-Map
Mini-Map of the globe and your current view.
Turn Timer & Map Option
The top circle shows you how much time there is before the next tick (E.g. half circle = half an hour left). The other two buttons affect the map. The top one refreshes / reloads the map and the bottom one centers the main display onto your colony.
Main Display
This is the main part of the screen. See Flags.
Left Side Menu Button
The 3 button which are:
- Player Settings (S)
- Allows you to put your colony into vacation mode . You can also change your password here.
- Profile (P)
- Allows you to set your country flag and see your referrals and votes.
- Forum (F)
- Allows you to access the forum in another window.
Main Menu
There are 4 parts to the task panel:
- Colony - Shows you overall stats on your colony.
- Construction - Build new buildings and advance in the technology tree.
- Military - Train new units and sort out your squads.
- Community - Alliance options as well as the leader board.
Zoom Out
Pressing the globe once will zoom out the main display once, giving a regional view. Pressing it again will give a global view. Double click on a section of the map to zoom back in.
Right Side Menu Button
The 3 button which are:
- Change Quality (Q)
- Allows you to change the visual quality of Battledawn from normal to low (and vice versa).
- Game Guide (?)
- Clicking on this button will bring up the game guide in another window.
- Log out (X)
- Allows you to log out of the game.
