Teleport Gate

The Teleport Gate is useful once you have it. You could make yourself a network of gates if you really wanted to! The Teleport Gate can also be used when you're heading to an allied colony or Gate Op which can make it useful for last minute reinforcements.
How To Get It
The Teleport Gate is the Tech 5 Workshop Structure. A full list of requirements can be found in the Structure List. The Teleport Gate is requied to send teleported units and receive teleported units. It takes

Metal: 5000, and
Oil: 2500 to build.(cost count of ETA ENERGY TELEPORTATION)
How To Use It
You need to have enough oil for the trip to take place normally & 1
for each tick left to the target. You can only teleport to/from:
- Your colony
- A gate outpost you control.
- An allied colony who has a teleport gate built.
- An allied gate outpost.
First, move the squad as if they were traveling normally. Then, when the squad is on route so you can click on it, 4 buttons will appear when you hover over it or click it. Pressing the top button with the thunderbolt (the one the green arrow is pointing to in the picture) will then Teleport it to it's location.
The cost per
of travel is 30
. Thus, when you launch a squad at a target 5
away and activate a Gate, it will cost you 5
and the 150
you spent will be returned. In the case of a squad that is already in mid-air and has only 2
left to reach its target, and the target is Gate-capable, activating the Gate will cost you 2
and the 60
will be returned to you. The maximum a Gate can cost in theory is 24
(because of the 24 ticks travel range). But since you can't teleport to a gate that is not yours or not one of your alliance members the maximum cost is actually 8
or 12
respectively.
You should also make sure that you have at least 20
in your energy reserve, before attempting to teleport, even though the cost of the teleport is less than 20
, you still need to have at least 20
.
Example: You want to teleport from your colony to a gate 7 ticks away. You only have 18
and therefore you can't teleport. You wait 1
and now you have 21
(Assuming you get 3

). Now you can make the teleport to the gate 7 ticks away and you will have 14 energy left (assuming your squad didn't move during the last
).
Note: You can only teleport units to/from a colony if that colony is not conquered.
